Huber Heights Cadet Foundation
Please check out our calendar for our upcoming fundraising events.  Also see the 'Supporters' page for the required coupon for our Dine and Donates with area restaurants.  We will get 10% or 15% of your bill only if you present the coupon. At select restaurants, we will have a raffle of items donated from local businesses and 50/50 Drawing. Tickets are $1 each for raffle items and $5 for 50/50 drawing.

Thank you to all of our supporters within the community.  The school board approved Superintendent Susan Gunnell to send a response to HQ AFJROTC that the HHCS wants to keep their AFJROTC program!  However, the Huber Heights Cadet Foundation needs to fund the program.  We will continue fundraising through the summer.  Please check back frequently to check our Events calendar.

The Huber Heights Cadet Foundation is a community sustaining the Wayne High School AFJROTC program.  We are the parents and community joining together and supporting the future leaders of tomorrow, one donation at a time.

In January, the Huber Heights City Schools made drastic budget cuts that included all extracurricular activities must be self-funded to remain. The AFJROTC is listed as an 'instructional' extracurricular activity.  By state law, pay to participate fees can not be applied.

The AFJROTC program currently has 145 cadets with another 100 students committed for the 2013-14 school year. We have the largest program in the State of Ohio!

When parents were notified in January that the AFJROTC programs funds were cut, we met to discuss our options for the cadets.  Everyone that night decided to step forward and persevere by forming the Huber Heights Cadet Foundation, which is a non-profit organization comprised of six board members; 3 Directors, a president, treasurer, and secretary.  Recently, the HHCF has expanded and added 2 non-voting board members; a public relations representative and a fundraising coordinator.

We have our Employer Identification Number (EIN).  This means that we are recognized by the IRS.  However, we still do not have our tax-exempt status.
